Michelle Kivett joined McInnes Group, Inc. in July 2024 as an Account Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. In this role, she manages a wide range of responsibilities, including benefits marketing, developing and presenting detailed client reports, overseeing employee communications, and resolving billing and claims issues. Michelle’s passion and expertise make her a valuable resource for both clients and colleagues.
In addition to her extensive experience in employee benefits, Michelle is also a former small business owner. She founded and grew a handbag company that expanded to 20 employees and over 100 consultants across 11 states before successfully selling the business. This entrepreneurial background gives Michelle a unique perspective on the daily challenges business owners face—as well as the victories worth celebrating.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Michelle has spent most of her life in Kansas City—home of the Chiefs! She has three adult children and cherishes every moment spent with them. She is also a proud grandmother to a granddaughter and grandson, whom she adores and can never get enough time with!
